About Dakota

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

An aggressive and fast-paced game style, always looking to attack the rim first while also being able to find open teammates, especially in transition. Confident shooting the three-ball but most effective reading defenders down in the paint.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I take pride in my work ethic and am always looking for ways to better myself on and off the court. I never give up easily and try to bring toughness and consistency with me everywhere I go. I also strive to be a leader to my teammates by setting the tone and uplifting others.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the years, I have been forced out of my comfort zone to be a leader on my teams, whether that’s an outgoing voice on the court, or simple encouragement. I’ve been told one of my strengths is the ability to bring people together and create an environment of unity.

An emerging name to keep an eye as a possibility to light up the small school ranks. Cox is an aggressive minded guard. She enjoyed a strong spring and summer of grassroots play. She’ll be looking to apply her skills to improve a Southwest Covenant team coming off a 14-10 season in Class A. She’s a multi-faceted scorer. Has deep range from three, which can open up the rest of her game. As she’s a smart driver by attacking under control and strongly. Has the tools to make a big jump as a producer in her sophomore year.
