We have seen some impressive stat lines out of Daley Pelican Daley Pelican 5'6" | SG Johnson-Brock | 2027 State NE for a few years now at Johnson-Brock High School. Pelican makes it happen. She can score from all offensive levels, she has a quick trigger off the catch, and she is willing to pass when others around her get open being of her creating ability. When you think about Pelican, you think about a competitor that can score the ball at a high rate, that also defends her own position pretty well. All in all, that’s really all you can ask for from a coaching standpoint so let’s see what this group can do the rest of the Winter moving forward.

I am expecting a lot of out Daley Pelican Daley Pelican 5'6" | SG Johnson-Brock | 2027 State NE this Winter with Johnston-Brock. Pelican, a 5’7 SG, was a noteworthy player last year when her team put together a season to remember but now that most of her team’s production has graduated, this Winter is going to be different than year’s past. Pelican has shoot the leather off the ball, she can defend her position pretty well, and she is smart when it comes to the X’s and O’s of this game. It’s going to take more than that though if they group wants to build off of last year’s success. They will be need to find another handler of the basketball and they will need some sort of Post presence down low. If they can find both of those things early on and Pelican plays her game, they should put respect stat lines as we move into the thick of the season. They just need to stay locked in mentally.

I’m hoping that Daley Pelican Daley Pelican 5'6" | SG Johnson-Brock | 2027 State NE can take a big step this season and become more than just a shooter. Pelican has scored at a sound rate over the past two years while shooting 39% but I think she could continue that shooting as she also becomes more of a creator off the dribble. She holds her own in a lot of ways right now but if she can show that she has been working this off-season then she is going to have a lot of chances to show out over the next six months.

Johnson-Brock competed in the MUDECAS event this past week and they ended up winning their division. In the Championship game, the MVP that was named was SG – Daley Pelican Daley Pelican 5'6" | SG Johnson-Brock | 2027 State NE of the Eagles. Pelican hit clutch shots in the biggest moments of the contest, along with making other hustle plays when needed. This was a very nice showing for Pelican and Johnson-Brock as a whole. It showed that they can step up with the best of them and win when it matters the most. Sometimes when players or teams get into big moments, they freeze but not this time. This team answered the bell and made the most of their opportunities so far. When looking toward the individual future for Pelican, it’s bright. If she keeps on this pace, she might be getting some college recruiting looks before you know it.
