Montgomery has numerous stars and stripes by her name, enough to make a flag, but here’s a RED FLAG for defenders: she has a “college-ready” body, she’s strong, attacks the basket powerfully, and finishes with players literally hanging on her. Yes, her first step is nice, but so is her step-back jumper, and seeing her elevate and release had me smiling. Her timing to block shots stood out as she came from out of nowhere to do it. Well, she did the same thing going AFTA, everything off the rim, but the icing on the cake was watching her go “coast to coast ” and finish while being defended
