Williams showed me she was a “game changer” when she attended the PGH Freshman Showcase, and her “on the court” progression showed not only at the TABC Showcase but also at the PGH Sophomore ID Camp, and she hasn’t let up see evaluation here

Williams falls into that “hard to handle” group because she can use the slight HEZ to attack and finish or explode powerfully off the dribble to score, nice body control after contact. Her “stop and pop” jumper looked good, so did her court vision in the set as well as in transition. She also played the passing lane and applied “on the ball” defense and that, coupled with quick hands picked some pockets

Williams has been a “must see” for me all club season because if I blink, I may miss something. Her explosiveness off the dribble while staying under control to finish after contact is even better, but seeing her use the turbo in transition and hit teammates in traffic was also solid. She dropped the jumper and played solid defense

#10-Williams was another player who left a lasting first impression at the PGH Freshman Showcase and what got me was her complaining about missing a couple of shots and just being down on herself. I told her that I was a REAL EVALUATOR and not to worry about that, a D1 coach taught me that years ago when she was recruiting my daughter and Williams’ performance was one of the best as she too made the All-Showcase team see evaluation here She does a good job of setting the defender up to score off the dribble or drop the jumper from multiple spots, nice upside

Williams was one of many players at the event who left a last first impression and she did that before closing the event out by changing hands in mid-air to score after contact. Her mid to long-range jumper, stop and pop as well as “catch and shoot” looked good but so did her FLOATA to score as she created problems galore for defenders. She uses her athleticism on both ends, on the ball pressure was smothering at times plus she saw the floor
