Brooks is a glue player. She is able to drive and draw multiple defenders and then make the perfect pass to her teammates. Brooks changes her speed to get past her defender and then makes terrific decisions for NC GBB. Brooks is willing to pass, to score, to get to the foul line, or be the hype person for her squad. She brings fantastic energy to the gym and her teammates. Brooks is another outstanding senior who is ready to lead the way for her team this season.

Danauje Brooks knocked down her shot from around the arc, and she didn’t back down from contact attacking the paint. Her tough on ball defense was making it tough for her opponents to even get past half court. She was always flashing up the court sneaking by her defenders to get the pass in transition and score some points. She can be the one making the passes up the court, too.

Danauje Brooks is a special junior from E.E. Smith. She is efficient on offense, she attacks the paint with a solid handle, and she makes great decisions when the basketball is in her hands. This season, Brooks scores nearly 13 points per game. She also passes for multiple assists. She is an unselfish guard who makes the best play for her team on each possession. Brooks is also an intense defender. She creates over 3 steals per night for the Golden Bulls.

Danauje Brooks is super quick with and without the ball constantly getting lost by her defenders. She can knock down her shot all around the perimeter, and she attacks the basket battling against contact when needed. She is sneaky making backdoor cuts getting the pass for the bucket, or she beats her opponents up the court for a fast break. Watching her play truly shows how point guards keep their heads on a swivel.

Danauje is such a patient PG that can really control the pace of the game. I love the way she owns that PG position and can slow the game down and allow her teammates to get into to their spots. While she can do so many things well as a true PG, my favorite attribute from her is her keen ability to scan the floor while she is bringing the ball up in transition. She is able to diagnose everything that is going on around her and make the right play accordingly. She does a great job running the pick and roll and makes excellent decisions with the basketball when she gets into the lane. Danauje had some strong moments where she showed she knows how to take over a game when she needs to and go right into attack mode. She just a terrific PG that plays the game the right way and can excel in any offensive system you put her in.

Danauje Brooks Danauje Brooks 5'4" | PG South View | 2025 State NC is a shifty ball handler being able to change directions quickly to lose her defenders. She is sneaky on defense, too, coming in hot to strip the ball from her opponents and easily take it the other direction for some fast break points. She can certainly knock down her shot from deep, too, and she brings good energy every time she steps on the court.

Danauje Brooks Danauje Brooks 5'2" Grace Christian -Sanford | 2025 SC (featured photo) is very quick with and without the ball, and she knows how to use her speed and change of direction to her advantage. She has a nice crossover move where it’s as if she exaggerates it to throw off her opponents even more. Her quick release on her shot is difficult to defend, and she can certainly drain it from beyond the perimeter. Her quickness is on display when she plays defense as she can definitely anticipate passes to grab the steal and take the other direction.
