Danica is one of the most explosive athletes in 2025 in the state, let alone in Elkhart County. Her ability to run & jump, coupled with her improved skillset, allow her to make plays at both ends of the floor that other players just can’t. She is a slasher who can get to the basket in a hurry, but she has also improved her passing and finds open teammates much more consistently. Additionally, she can be an elite defender at times, and she collects a number of steals and rebounds by using her quickness and length to her advantage.
Danica is one of the more talented athletes in Indiana in the 2025 class. She can run & jump, she has quickness, and she is just all-around explosive. More than really being defined by a position, Danica is best described as being a playmaker offensively. She can get to the rim with ease, she is solid in the mid-range game, plus she can find open teammates. Defensively, the combination of her explosiveness and her length allow her to defend aggressively on the ball or affect passing lanes and create steals/deflections off the ball.
Danica is a long, wiry, extremely fast and bouncy guard. She is outstanding in transition, she can get to the basket just about any time she wants in the half-court, and she is starting to play with more control and understanding of situations. She can initiate the offense, and you aren’t taking the ball from her, plus her jumper is starting to look more comfortable for her from the perimeter. I also like how she hounds the ball at the defensive end of the floor.

put on a show for Always 100
Red at the Memorial Day Shootout last weekend. Her on-ball defense was what set her above the other CG prospects as she quickly stepped laterally to cut off ball handlers and turned steals into transition layups. Danica climbed the ladder to block a shot. She blew by defenders and finished with impressive elevation in the paint and worked for offensive boards. Danica tossed accurate one-hand passes to teammates and used a variety of dribble moves to create space. Her relentless motor and defensive performance edged her in my mind as a great prospect.
Danica is a kid who is flying under the radar of a lot of small colleges, but I think by July, she could see her interest rise significantly. She is one of the most athletic guards in the 2025 class in Indiana, and she has a unique, next level type of start & stop ability, along with speed, quickness, and bounce. She is a blur in transition, she can get by defenders with ease and attack the basket, and she’s starting to be a lot more creative and find open teammates. Right now, she’s probably more of a scorer, but if she can become a combo guard, it wouldn’t hurt. She can really defend the ball, though.
