Danica had a special week that began with 29 points (8/10 FT, 5 3PT), four rebounds, four assists, and four steals in a 54-42 win at Webberville. She became Owosso’s all-time boys and girls career scoring leader and set a new single-game scoring record during a 50-42 win vs. Durand. Danica reached 1,089 career points to pass the previous mark set in 1968. She scored 42 points (3 3PT, 12/13 FT), with eight rebounds, four steals, and four assists. Danica finished the week off with a productive 17 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists during a 40-26 win vs. Brandon. Her stellar 88 points, 20 rebounds, 11 assists, and eight steals led the team to a 3-0 record. Danica is Michigan’s PGH x Foster Swift Sports Dec. 14th-20th Player of the Week.
