Safo was selected as Co-Defensive Player of the Year in the 6A South Region. Safo was highly effective scoring 16.6 points per game and having 3.7 assists on the offensive end. A skilled dribbler with a quick step that allowed her to slice through the defense and score at the basket. She was just as effective on the defensive end averaging 9.9 rebounds, 3.6 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. She accounted for 14 double doubles on the season. Safo is a player coaches need to catch this off-season. A high academic player who has a high ceiling and can positively impact at the next level.

A strong and physical player. Has very good post footwork. Can get to the paint and finish with a nice step through after getting her opponent off balance. Has a nice skill set and knows how to finish a variety of ways at the basket. Strong on the boards and can quickly get the second chance opportunity. Safo has the frame and size that will attract coaches and the play making ability to keep them interested. Makes great reads while handling the ball and is just as dangerous with her off ball movement.

Safo had an incredible season where she continues to prove shes right up there with the best in the class of 2027. Her handling and footwork has dramatically improved in the last year. Her season averages were 16.6 points, 3.7 assists, 9.9 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. Safo had 14 double doubles this season which ranks her 13th in the state. Shes a hustler and can space out the floor. Shes quick to find a weakness in the defense and exploit it. Attacks the basket very well and the physicality of the game doesn’t phase her. Very high IQ on both ends of the floor.

Safo is an extremely skilled player who can effectively play 1-4. She can blow by her initial defender and then euro step around the secondary defender scoring the basket rather easily. Shes racking in 17.6 points, 3.1 assists, 10.2 rebounds and 4.6 steals per game. Her stats show in black and white how good of an overall player she is but watching her live you can truly see how impactful of a player she is. She moves with purpose and sees the court at a high level.

A strong patient dribbler that will make a move and get right to the basket for the finish. Strong on ball defender. Gifted rebounder who scored well off second chance points. She works great in transition, can see the floor well while being contested. Finished the game I viewed with a 16 point and 11 rebound double double. Safo continues to prove to be a top 2027 prospect in Southern Arizona.

Safo is transitioning into a more leadership role this year. Known for her spark-plug energy and ability to shift momentum, she’s evolving into a more complete guard. Expect her to be a vocal and steady presence for Rincon as she continues to mature her game.

Safo continues to make a case as one of the top 2027 prospects in Southern Arizona. She plays incredibly hard and with a purpose. Got to the basket almost at will this weekend. Very skilled with her footwork and dribble. Aggressive defender that will make her opponents turn the ball over. Strong rebounder that will quickly score the second chance bucket.

Daphne is a double-double waiting to happen. She battles inside, a lot of times against taller players, but she still produces. Her energy allows her to have a big impact on the boards as well as on the defensive side of the court.
