Dariia is a name that’ll be a late riser this year. There’s no denying the impact she has on the floor and even in her absence, she still remains a top 3 player at the position.

Dariia has an impressive handle for her height, allowing her to create offense from the perimeter and attack the basket. She plays inside-out effectively, passing from the post area to open teammates on the perimeter. Defensively, she moves her feet well and stays in front of her assignments. Around the basket, Dariia attacks contact and finishes strong, often earning trips to the free-throw line.

Dariia is a versatile big that can play both the 4 and the 5. She can play with just about any skillset on the floor due to her in & out methods in the halfcourt plus she gets up the floor faster than most at the position, showing she can play fast-paced too. Being able to play in different tempos as well as being a playmaker on the defensive end has made her an intriguing watch. With the transfer from Ricky Hill over to Mount Saint Charles, Serednytska has made a seamless transition and impacted the Mounties as they’ve moved into NEPSAC play. With a player like her, they’re in good hands. She’s currently ranked #3 at the position and #33 overall in the class.

Dariia has found major success as a transfer from Rocky Hill. The 6’2 sophomore has always offered great foundational play down low, however this year specifically, her game has grown to new measures. Maybe it’s the opportunities she’s now receiving, but Serednytska has looked more polished than ever. She’s a strong-bodied versatile big that demonstrates agility around the paint and perimeter. The soft touch plus shooting ability takes her to the next level as a prospect. Dariia is unquestionably one of the top bigs in the class.

Dariia showed exactly why she’s the #1 player at her position in her class. She was all over the glass and consistently giving her team second chance opportunities. Serednytska was an excellent option as a roller, from high post or from the block. She was creating off the dribble some too. The defense Dariia showed was on full display. She was able to deter players from the basket and was one of the reasons the score started to get lopsided. All game long she was impacting the Mustangs’ best offensive players with stellar team defense.

Dariia finished the game with 14 points and 9 rebounds.

Dariia is coming into the season as a transfer from a championship Rocky Hill Country Day squad. Her game is well seasoned for a sophomore big. Serednytska will be a prominent figure in what Mount St. Charles does this year. At 6’2 she’s versatile with her back to the basket or facing up to knock down a jumper. She has simple, yet effective moves that allow her to easily get shots up over defenders. Dariia is an excellent rim runner that darts down the floor, but she’s also liable to get the ball as a trailer. Serednytska will have the opportunity in her new threads to have the ball a lot more. She’ll get to show off more of her skillset without having a jampacked frontcourt, so she’ll be able to operate more generously. Serednytska has the frame and skillset to be a huge factor in NEPSAC this year.

Serednytska comes in as the region’s top center in 2027. Dariia is a transfer from Rocky Hill Country Day, where she just won a championship on a loaded team. She was a key contributor to the team and was a part of one of the most talented young frontlines in all of NEPSAC. She brings her talents to a Mount Saint Charles team that’s transferring into the NEPSAC league. Serednytska will come in as their top player after having an excellent spring/summer where she has polished off more of her game. The 6’2 big offers some traditional down low play, but she also works well as a trailer coming down the floor. The long strides make her an excellent rim runner to create easy offense too. Dariia will have a chance with her new team to show off more creation skills from different points of the floor, something she is more than capable of doing. With more touches Dariia is guaranteed to be productive. Serednytska is already getting some college looks, but will surely grab even more attention this year.
