FINAL RANKING #1- Dee has dazzled the girls basketball fans around Ohio for the last four years which included four state championships for Purcell Marian. She saves her best game for the biggest stage, and this year, she nearly had a triple-double in the state championship game. She is such a strong force around the rim, added in with a perimeter game and great defensive effort. She will be headed to the University of Cincinnati.

What else can be said about this young lady that hasn’t been said yet? Absolutely nothing. She just earned her third consecutive Ms. Basketball award and led her team to their 4th straight state title. Dee has put together one of the greatest careers in Ohio history and is ready for the next phase. She can score at anytime, is solid on the boards and has great court vision. It’s off to the University of Cincinnati in the fall. Dee has been selected as our D3 Player of the Year. (Feature photo above)

Dee has won the last two awards, and is clearly the favorite for the three-peat going into the season. Alexander will be headed to the University of Cincinnati upon graduation from PM, and brings a lot of accolades and skill to the Bearcats. Outstanding floor leader, handles the business at the rim, very good handles and can score from all three phases. (Feature photo above)

Dee repeats as the D2 Player of the Year as the junior has put together another outstanding season. She has led Purcell Marian to the Final Four with only one loss on the season. Dee has a very high skillset and can defend any position on the floor. Handles like a guard, can score from all three phases and protects the rim if needed. Averaged just over 18 points per game.

PGH D2 Player of the Year- Averaged 25.9 points, 10 rebounds per game. An absolute stud on the court, she knows the game and plays it well. She can win a game at any time and is always at a different level. Strong near the basket, can jump higher than most of her defenders to score over them. She is tall and agile, has a terrific sense of the game, and can make plays on both ends of the courts.

What a show for the Ohio Ms. Basketball as Dee led Purcell Marian to the state title. She had 34 in the state semis to get the Cavaliers into the finals, then the sophomore dropped 20 points in the finals shooting 9-15 from the field with 10 rebounds and a team high 3 steals. Over the two games, Dee shot 21-31 from the field with 54 points and scored whenever she wanted. She was unstoppable at the rim and brought home the gold back to Cincinnati.

She is at a different level and can take over a game at any time. Very solid around the basket, can jump out of the gym and score over her defender. Long and athletic, she can create plays and has a good mind for the game. As a sophomore, she has led Purcell Marian back to the regionals and are the favorites to repeat at state champions, only this year in Division 2.
Dee (feature photo above) is tough to score against with her wingspan and she can defend anyone on the floor
