On Day 2 of the BallHER tournament, Hyams secured her 1,000th career point in the fourth quarter at the free throw line. This is because Hyams can seemingly get to the free throw line at will. She is the main attacking force for her team. She uses a hesitation before attacking the gap and has a very poised release on her shot.

Hyams was one of the stars I caught in Frisco a few months ago as college coaches were asking me “Who is that kid” I couldn’t remember her name so I used my one of timelines to “phone a friend” and it clicked. I’ve written about her several times but her ability to take over games and score in droves either attacking or from mid to long-range has been a thrill to see all season
