Another unsigned James Monroe player that I like is Daysha Salgado Daysha Salgado 6'2" | PF James Monroe | 2025 State VA . Daysha has nice size and does great work in the paint on both ends. She is a terrific rebounder and can step out and knock down threes. Daysha is skilled and physical and one of the better forwards in the 2025 class.

Daysha Salgado Daysha Salgado 6'2" | PF James Monroe | 2025 State VA was a factor in this game. In the first half, she did a nice job sealing off defenders in the post to get easy buckets off of passes. Daysha battled on the glass in a very physical game, and she used her size well. Daysha also did an excellent job defensively contesting shots at the rim. She finished with 8 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 blocks.

Daysha Salgado Daysha Salgado 6'2" | PF James Monroe | 2025 State VA played off of Harmony Jones really well. Daysha had a lot of easy buckets at the rim, and she did a great job moving without the ball to get easy looks at the rim. She used her size well on the glass and made a few nice passes.

A strong post who imposes her will on defense and offense with her good footwork. She plays with a lot of physicality in the paint. She rebounds well both offensively and defensively, she has improved endurance and runs the floor hard in transition to get to the block for layups. A capable rim protector that has the size to play at the D1 level can possibly be a late D1 pick like her sister was last year!
