Underwood did a good job using her size against a smaller Franklin County team. She was particularly effective on the offensive glass where she was able to grab three offensive rebounds and convert three quick put backs. Underwood did a nice job rebounding for the Lady Raiders on the defensive end also, where she used her long frame to block and alter shots. Daytona handles the ball very well for her size and brought the ball up and initiated the offense herself several times.

Up from No. 73: Plays with a mean streak. Plays inside and out. Scores well through contact down low. Likes to shoot the three on the perimeter. Sees the floor very well when serving as a point-forward. Vocal leader. Well-rounded skill set.

Daytona sank a pair of threes en route to 11 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. The point-forward is imperative to Habersham Central’s success breaking the press. The raiders try to pass the ball up the court with as few dribbles as possible and that is only doable with Underwood being able to flash middle. The sophomore has a robust skill level and will be counted out through out the year to carry the Raiders.
