Sadie showed the ability to initiate the offense, create paint touches, and get to the cup. She was looking for her own offense while also showing playmaking ability, giving her a foundation that includes both scoring intent and creation for others. Her willingness to attack the paint is a useful part of her scoring package because it gives the defense a decision to make when it comes to building a wall or staying attached to their defender. The next layer is connecting her scoring approach with the read that follows the initial attack. When she can get into the paint and stay under control, she gives herself an opportunity to finish or create for teammates. Her playmaking and willingness to initiate are encouraging pieces to continue developing. As she continue learning when to pursue her own opportunity and when the defense has opened a better chance for a teammate will take her playmaking ability to another level.

Chambers is a playmaker with the ball in her hands. A player that once the ball touches her hands, has the ability to let it fly from behind the arc. Knows how to get downhill and finish through contact but also showed you how to finish off 2 in the paint. Chambers has the ability and IQ to be one of the best scoring threats on the floor, but she is not afraid to pick up and pressure full court on defense. Pure shooter that doesn’t need much room or time to get her shot off.

Sadie, coming off back to back All Region seasons to start her high school career, has had a very impressive first travel ball season with FBC ‘ last=’NextUp’]. With a backcourt full of guards who can score, Chambers has become the primary distributor for her team. She is an excellent athlete who thrives pushing the ball on the break, but is equally capable of hurting defenses with dribble penetration in the backcourt. She has shown very good vision finding her teammates on the perimeter and in the paint consistently putting them in positions to score the basketball. Sadie is more than capable of putting the ball in the basket herself as she is a reliable shooter from the midrange and three point range, and HER Elite athleticism and explosiveness getting to the rim keeps defenses off balance. It’s no surprise she holds her school record for high jump at 5’6″ and finished third in the state of Georgia’s AAAAA classification in the high jump. She was also the quarterback for the Flag Football team at Habersham this past season.

Sadie has the kind of rare athleticism that routinely has people asking in the crowd what other sport do she play. Less than 24 hours ago she won the region championship for the high jump in track and field. So far nobody has been able to consistently keep Sadie in front of them with the basketball this travel ball season. She has been able to find and attack holes in the defense with relative ease, either finishing strongly at the rim or finding an open teammate for layup or kick out three. She has thrived surrounded by similarly talented players and she is playing the best basketball that I have seen her play. When left open, Chambers has been knocking down shots from three consistently and when the defense closes out recklessly she blows right by them for a layup. She helped lead her team to a strong 3-2 finish at The Clash and will be counted on to continue her excellent play.

Athletic sophomore has become a go-to player for the Raiders. Does a great job playing at different speeds. Likes to use stop-and-go moves with the ball, a probing attacker. Has nice touch when it comes to knocking down runners and floaters. Finishes with both hands. Solid outside shot keeps defenses alert. Nice nose for the ball on defense. Rebounds very well for her position. Has grown at the lead guard position.

Athletic slasher likes getting to her pull-up jumper. Does a good job rebounding and defending the ball.
