Pugh helped set it off during the 3-on-3 see evaluations here, yet observing how she continues to add something to her game every chance I get to watch her shows she is working on her game. She falls into that “big guard” that can shoot group, and seeing her “catch and shoot” get even better is a game changer, especially since she keeps the defender guessing by scoring off the dribble. She also rebounded and handled the ball afterward, and saw the floor in transition

Pugh has been evaluated by me, and @playerrimedies see evaluations here, and since she’s “long and athletic” and just under “the magic number”, she consistently shows she can get her shot off whenever she wants to. She elevated over defenders around the basket as well as from outside to score; long ball ala “catch and shoot” included, and her timing to block shots was another plus

Pugh was another player I knew nothing about until the PGH Sophomore ID Camp, where she was one of the standouts, see evaluation here, yet @playerrimidies caught up with her later and spoke on how she continues her “on the court” progression, see evaluation here

Pugh (long and athletic) is capable of handling both backcourt spots with ease and control. She displays strong floor awareness and composure by pushing the pace in transition, creating off the bounce, and defending with discipline and effort. Her length on the wing will give her team a size advantage.

Pugh gave me so much versatility on both ends at the PGH Sophomore ID Showcase, and she too left a lasting first impression see evaluation here

Pugh rhymes with whew, and her being a “long and athletic” guard, which is and always will fall into THE BASE, she showed me she could not only play either the 1 or 2, she did both efficiently and effectively. Her court vision, decision-making, and ball handling all looked good, and why wouldn’t they, she’s heady. Making the right pass in transition was really nice, but she also scored or dished off the dribble. She dropped the short jumper and played solid defense
