Pugh (long and athletic) is capable of handling both backcourt spots with ease and control. She displays strong floor awareness and composure by pushing the pace in transition, creating off the bounce, and defending with discipline and effort. Her length on the wing will give her team a size advantage.

Pugh rhymes with whew, and her being a “long and athletic” guard, which is and always will fall into THE BASE, she showed me she could not only play either the 1 or 2, she did both efficiently and effectively. Her court vision, decision making, and ball handling all looked good, and why wouldn’t they, she’s heady. Making the right pass in transition was really nice, but she also scored or dished off the dribble. She dropped the short jumper and played solid defense
