About Della

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an aggressive defender who loves to run a full court press to create turnovers. On offense I love to have the ball in my hands. I like to direct traffic and make things happen.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have lots of energy on and off the court. I also have 3 brothers who have instilled a competitive nature in me that helps me be an all out competitor in everything I do.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the Beta club, Future Business Leaders of America, Unified Club

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Before my Freshman basketball season, my team had a last minute coaching change that caused the team to basically restart. We had a really tough season with very little experience on the court and ended with a 5-25 record. This instilled a drive in me to work hard on my game and to help my younger teammates to catch up to the speed of the high school game which led to a much better year this year

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a school that I would fit in to their type of program. Some where that I can make a connection with the coach and also contribute to the success of the team.
