Weaver was among the leading scorers in the state, and over the summer, you could see the tools she was working with. Weaver’s a quick kid, understands her spots, and can create off the dribble. In time, she’ll start to put everything together, and she’ll become a more consistent offensive kid, but she’ll be a volume scorer in her time at Messmer because that gives her team its best chance to win games over the next three seasons.
