Christon is coming off a fantastic junior season, where she earned all-conference, all-state, and all-tournament honors. She is a great slasher who initiates contact and finds ways to finish. She can knock down jumpers, especially from mid-range.

She is a solid rebounder, using her length and athleticism to grab as many boards as possible. Those same attributes come in handy on the defensive end as well, as she bothers the opposition with her wingspan. She can also slide over to the help side and swat shots away.

Disyah Christon Disyah Christon 5'9" | SF/SG Lake Hamilton | 2026 State AR is one of the top forwards in the 2026 class, and she was clearly Lake Hamilton’s number one option in this game.

Christon struggled to find consistency when she would post up her defender on the baseline, as she was being doubled every single play. When she did have a chance to breathe, Christon could take her defender off the dribble, draw contact, and head to the free throw line, where she went 3/4 on the evening. Christon was also able to knock down some mid-range jumpers, showing off her ability to hit shots off the dribble. When she was doubled, Christon made good passes to try to elicit help from her teammates.

Throughout the night, Christon played solid defense, especially when playing on the help-side. She did a nice job collapsing on her assignment and forcing them into tough shots. Christon also rebounded the ball well, giving her chances to push the ball in transition.

Disyah Christon Disyah Christon 5'9" | SF/SG Lake Hamilton | 2026 State AR is pretty highly ranked on this site, but I feel like she has the potential to go higher in 2024/25. Christon can make plays all over the court, and she played with a maturity you rarely see in sophomores. Now entering her junior year, I suspect Christon becomes one of the best wings in the entire state, and one that no one can stop talking about.

Christon has excellent two-way abilities. She has size, length, and athleticism to go along with her solid defense and inside-outside offensive game. Christon can put up points when she is called upon to do so. She can knock down catch-and-shoot triples, especially when she has a good look in the either corner. Christon can also cut inside and she records a lot of easy baskets once her teammates find her. Now on defense, I think that is where Christon makes her largest impact.

Christon’s length makes her a difficult player to get around. Her wingspan and quick feet allow her to keep her assignment in front at all times, and if there is a loose ball, you better believe she is already there scooping it up. A lot of Christon’s offense last season came from forcing turnovers. Whether she was stealing a pass or picking someone’s pocket, Christon had the opportunity to take the ball to the other end on the fastbreak, leading to a fair amount of easy layups.
