About Drew

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a quick combo gaurd. I take pride in my ability to get after it on defense. I am confident behind the arch and in attacking the rim.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a defense minded player. I believe aggressive defense leads to offensive success. Whether that is jumping passing lanes or forcing turnovers. I love to get after it and create momentum for my team through hustle plays.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received three academic letter awards throughout high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a never quit mindset while on the court and off. I believe hard work pays off. I have learned to be a leader over my years of varsity basketball and by taking initiative on club teams. I am a captain for the 25-26 season and i'm looking forward to making a difference in my high school program.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

While playing up during my 8th grade year, I experienced stress fractures in my shins. My mental and physical strength was tested throughout my recovery. My pain lingered through my sophomore year of high school, but over the course of this challenge I learned how to take care of my body and prioritize my health.
