Johnson was also a player whose name preceded her as my Texas Savage folks had been telling me about her for a minute. We go way back and think along the same lines about talent and base things on the THEN and not the NOW so catching her at the Texas Invitational had me using “phone a friend” and say “You were right, yet again” I love her upside yet her speed with the ball will add to what she already brings to the table see evaluation here

Johnson was already on my “must-see” list after talking with my friends from Texas Savage and as usual, they were correct. I hashtag #sizedontmatter when they can play, she can flat-out play and her defensive pressure at times was smothering and helped to create turnovers but watching her blow by defenders to score as well as create her shot and drop the jumper JUST DID IT for me
