About Elena

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive on Defense, can rebound, and move ball quickly. Great out shot at the corners, can drive to the basket and can see the court to set up plays well. I do well at the line, and can make plays happen for teammates

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

quiet, but fierce on the court, I do not let opponents talk get to me, I can excel under stressful situations

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I feel that I am a great team player. I am more confident in my skills to move the ball to make plays, and I can lead the team. I take pride in the relationships that I have built within my teammates both at school and in AU team. I have strong work ethic and will do what coaches ask. My mental attitude toward situations has become stronger ad thigs do not get to me as easily and can move on.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Balancing a hard case load at school and athletics has been difficult but I have persevered and done well in both areas and feel that it has made me a stronger individual.

What type of college are you looking for?

Academics is my top priority along with scholarships and academic financial support. I want to have an opportunity to play basketball at the next level and continue to grow my skills.
