Eliza may be going to Oakland University for track/cross country, but she has had a memorable basketball career at Arbor Prep, including a state championship. Eliza was dialed in from beyond the arc at the Laker MLK Classic. She drilled two wing 3s including one beyond the college line at the end of the 1st quarter. After WLN hit a 3-pointer late in the second quarter, Eliza used her track speed to push the ball down the floor, cross over a defender, and swish a runner 3 at the buzzer. Eliza showed poise with the ball, creating space from pressuring defenders to set up the offense. She gave the Gators 12 points in their victory. Eliza could have been an excellent NAIA/D3 point guard if she chose to play basketball in college and she’s a great example of a prospect who has excelled while playing multiple sports in high school.

made key plays for Arbor Prep and not all of them jump out on the stat sheet. She buried a wing 3 and what was more impressive was her toughness to anticipate an out of control drive and draw the charge. She handled the ball well under pressure, played good defense, and distributed the ball effectively for the Gators; Eliza finished with 6 points in their victory at the Michigan Hardwood Classic.

Bush flat out played really tough against Butler Prep. She played stronger than her size and proved that she can still excel in a physical game. Bush was able to handle the ball effectively and shot well from behind the arc. It felt like her triples were keeping Arbor Prep within striking distance four a while. Bush has a very bright future as a high level lead guard in Michigan.

Arbor Prep knows how to develop perimeter talent, that much is perfectly clear. Bush is a terrific passer that can put zip on the delivery as well as put the ball in a tight spot with touch.

Bush has some of the good old fashioned lead guard in her game. She does all the little things well that a point guard needs to do to see their team win. Bush handles the ball well, keeping it protected and making good decisions with it. She has a very patient game, letting the offense take it’s course and not forcing the issue.
