Elizabeth is a very confident and skilled guard. She has good instincts to score the ball and creates shots for others. She has a very nice shot and makes good decisions on the court. She is able to shoot the ball and is a reliable perimeter shooter. She can make shots off the dribble or catch, which gives her defensive opponents fits. Elizabeth is a solid defender as well, as she plays with discipline and intensity.

The sophomore guard finished with 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, showing her versatility and willingness to contribute wherever needed. She did a good job facilitating offense for the Panthers and crashing the boards from the guard position, giving Paradise Honors valuable second-chance opportunities.

Coming off a near triple-double in the quarterfinals, Lizzy is trending at the right time. She impacts the game in multiple areas — scoring, rebounding, and playmaking. That versatility is what makes her dangerous. Against a top-ranked Salpointe squad, Paradise Honors will need her to stuff the stat sheet again. Players who affect the game beyond scoring win playoff games.

Lizzy Guincho turned in an awesome performance at the Classic, and this young star is establishing herself as one of the top point guards in her class in Arizona. She is a terrific ball handler. She can change speeds and accelerate in traffic and she can find open players on a consistent basis. She is outstanding going to the basket and can finish several different ways. She is a good shooter, but I expect that part of her game to be excellent within the next two years. Izzy is a highly motivated player and she will be a player to watch in Arizona for the next 3 years.

Look for her to rise to the occasion and continue to elevate her game.
