Every time I have seen Elizabeth Kearney Elizabeth Kearney 5'5" | CG Bethlehem | 2028 NY play, she impresses, and this weekend was no exception. Kearney is a very good outside shooter with perfect form and mechanics. She can connect on shots from behind the arc from every spot on the floor and with deep range. Perhaps the skill that impressed me the most at Empire Takeover was her ability to drive to the basket and score. Kearney was always playing downhill, and if the defense cut her off, she found others for productive shots. She runs the floor well and is a strong finisher in transition. Kearney adds to her team’s success with her defense and rebounding ability.

Elizabeth uses her body well around the basket, bumping defenders to create separation before finishing. On defense, she does a good job staying vertical in the paint to contest and block shots without fouling. Elizabeth also has great footwork around the rim and can score with traditional finishes or short fadeaway jumpers.

Kearney has the vision with her playmaking ability to beat you off in a multitude of ways on the offensive end of the floor. She brings it every possession on both ends of the floor. She has good range and fluidity on her mechanics, is a confident shooter, and has the ability to space things out. Want to see her become more aggressive on the defensive end.

Confident shooter from the mid range, can drive and get to the basket. Has good handle to get by defenders and dish the ball to open teammates. Loves to run on the break and look for easy buckets. Will excel in high motion offense.
