About Elizabeth

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A versatile basketball player who shoots 3s, hustles, plays good defense, and operates at both forward and guard. She is a "3-and-D Forward" or a "Hybrid/Combo Forward." She is a high-motor player who can stretch the floor offensively and guard multiple positions defensively, acting as a crucial glue player or a primary two-way star.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

She prioritizes hustle, works hard for the entire game, and is highly coachable. She is recognized for her high motor, defensive intensity, and willingness to sacrifice for the team. Never gives up.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Elizabeth volunteers to feed the homeless every Sunday at Copeland Hall in Riverside. She is also active with Sports Medicine at Poly High School and Bear Pals. She recently placed 2nd at the County National History Day with her project on Early Childhood Development and Sesame Street.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

She is a team leader on the Poly Tennis team and the Poly Girls basketball team. She also empowers her teammates through active engagement, recognizing the strengths of each team member and supporting her teammates. She volunteers in the community and exemplifies high-impact leadership by balancing empathy, strategic thinking, and strong communication to inspire others. She collaborates with oth

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

After Freshman year, Elizabeth broke her right arm at a basketball game in Vegas. This not only set her back with tennis, but also basketball. Instead of giving up, she continued to workout and support both teams sophomore year. She practiced with her left hand in both sports and attended every practice and game to support her teammates.

What type of college are you looking for?

Elizabeth is open to small or large schools in any part of the United States. Ideally she would like to attend a school that will challenge her both academically and athletically. She hopes for a positive college experience where students remain on campus and she can be involved in the community.
