Liz Niehuss is a high-IQ, skill-driven forward whose impact is built on feel, efficiency, and composure. She plays the game a step ahead, using footwork, angles, and timing to score without needing speed or volume. Niehuss is comfortable operating in the mid-post, finishing inside, and stepping out to stretch the defense, making her difficult to scheme against. Her passing instincts stand out — she sees cutters early and makes simple, timely reads that keep offenses flowing. Defensively, she relies on positioning and anticipation to control space and rebound her area. At her best, Niehuss is a frontcourt game-controller who elevates teammates through intelligence and poise.

Liz had a strong and productive week on the court, consistently impacting the game on both ends. She opened with 9 points and 7 rebounds in just three quarters against Spanish Fort, showing efficiency in limited minutes. Then at Baker, she delivered a big performance with 21 points and 12 rebounds, controlling the paint throughout the game. Liz continued her rebounding dominance on 12/19 versus Homewood, pulling down 11 boards to go along with 8 points. She capped off the week with her most impressive outing on 12/20 against Pensacola, pouring in 21 points and grabbing a massive 17 rebounds, highlighting her consistency, toughness, and all-around impact.
