Hubbard is a 6-foot-1 forward with good size, developing footwork and tremendous potential. Still young, she has an opportunity to continue developing her inside game and become an important presence in the Lady Jaguars’ frontcourt. Playing with her back to the basket is one of her biggest strengths, but she also shows good shooting form out to 15 feet. As her overall game continues to develop, Hubbard has the tools to become a more consistent scoring threat and give North Laurel another valuable option inside.

North Laurel has a talented young post player in Ella. She moves well for her size, gets up and down the floor well, and is a skilled big who can put the ball on the deck and pass out of the post. She finishes well around the basket and also made an impact defensively, coming up with a monster block in the game I watched.

Ella showcases an impressive arsenal of post moves along with a soft and consistent mid-range jumper. She displays good footwork, finishes effectively around the basket, and has the ability to step away from the rim and score. Hubbard’s combination of size, skill, and offensive polish makes her one of the more intriguing young post prospects in Kentucky’s future classes.
