Reyes had to have made the jump in position when considering her body of work over the course of the entire year. Ella has had a big recruiting buzz around her this summer, regularly in the news for receiving offers. She’s ranked 7th within the class.

Ella has received a ton of offers this summer, including Bryant, UMass Lowell, Lafayette and Navy. As she enters her junior season at Westerly High School, she will look to build on this momentum and give herself even more options before making her college decision. Ella is excellent at getting to the rim and finishing through contact, while her good hands on defense allow her to generate steals that can lead to fast-break opportunities.

There’s not much more Reyes can do to prove she’s one of the top players in ’28. No matter the team, setting or atmosphere, Ella doesn’t fail to dominate matchups. On top of that, she also has great influence, so much so she’s heavily game planned against.

Reyes is starting to get the recognition behind her name. She was just recently offered by Stonehill and there’s going to plenty of more to follow. Her playmaking skillset is essential to the team’s functionality, so she’ll be in prime position to show off her polished game. 

Ella played well at the New England Spring Showcase, making her presence felt on both ends of the floor. She pressures the ball aggressively and creates turnovers with active hands, while also hustling to tie up loose balls. Offensively, she keeps her head up and delivers on-time, on-target passes in transition. She’s also a crafty finisher at the rim and a confident three-point shooter with a smooth stroke.

The do-it-all guard is considered a top-level talent for a reason. She plays a vital role for Westerly and she can be counted upon to come through with tough 2-way play. In Ella’s last game, she finished with 28 pts plus 11 reb. With Reyes leading the way, Westerly has the state on notice right now.
