At 5’11” it is easy to see why this sophomore is a leader for Evergreen High School. As a SF, she posses the handles to assist with breaking presses and keeping an offense flowing. She can hit mid-range jumpers with ease and can even step out and score from behind the arch when her team needs it. Elle is also a great passer, which is a great asset at her height. Defensively, Buenning has excellent footwork, keeping her shifty across the court, getting easy traps and steals. She makes use of her height when guarding on the wing. She can also guard and snatch rebounds in the paint. Pay attention to this sophomore to continue to do great things with Evergreen this season and into her future.
