About Ellie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High energy, tough defense, and play maker.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to have fun on the court, by fun I want to win, winning is fun. I like getting into someone's head by playing tough D and making plays happen. I like making good passes and including the team in the game. If I am on the bench I want to cheer and be active for my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am active in 4-H and show steers and pigs at our Local fair.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My AAU coach has taught be to be the coach on the floor. I have a personality that leads by example and encouraging my teammates with positive feedback. My parents do a basketball tournament, I help with sorting t-shirts, concessions, book/score clock. With 4-H I have done lots of community service such as, Easter Egg hunt, work in the skatepark gardens, picked up trash in both Palouse/Garfield

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My club team is 90 minutes away and practice is 2 hours and then drive home another 90 minutes. I have maintained good grades and still participating in school sports as well. I feel like I know how to have good time management.

What type of college are you looking for?

not sure since I am still pretty young

It’s not often you see an 8th grader making plays in the state championship game, but Collier defied expectations. Scoring 10 points while adding 6 rebounds and 4 assists, she played with maturity well beyond her years. A 1st Team All-League pick, Collier impressed with her versatility—able to shoot, drive, and defend. With years still ahead of her, she’s a future star already playing at a high level.
