“Fyans has size, knowledge of the game, and understanding of her own ability to a T. She moves really well for 6’5 and is a tough player to guard near the hoop with her back to the basket abilities. She does a fantastic job of keeping the ball high whenever she catches it going toward the rim, so that smaller guards can’t get a strip or their hands on it for a jump ball. Defensively, she has stepped out to the outside and held her out against smaller shooter, while also understanding to jump help side whenever she is off of the ball for support. She is someone that other team’s MUST worry about while attacking the rim or it’s going to be a block party for Fyans.”

Ellie Fyans Ellie Fyans 6'5" | C Providence Day | 2025 State NC is long and lanky. She is also skilled and athletic. Fyans is an elite rebounder and can record a double-double in nearly any game in which she competes. Fyans runs the floor well and can score in stride when her guards pass ahead to her on the break. On defense, Fyans is a force. She will block multiple shots and alter several more each game. Fyans will be ready for a special weekend in Kentucky with her team.

Ellie Fyans Ellie Fyans 6'5" | C Providence Day | 2025 State NC was getting lost by her defenders even with her height. She scored the first six points for her team by flashing in and out of the paint being ready to put up her shot off the pass. She always keeps her arms outstretched whether she is on defense protecting the basket or on offense making herself a big target for the entry pass.

Ellie Fyans Ellie Fyans 6'5" | C Providence Day | 2025 State NC is another player who helped her team reach the state championship. She uses her height well in the paint being able to block shots easily. She does a nice job sliding into the help position making sure the basket is protected, and she grabs rebounds on both ends of the court making sure to score off of offensive rebounds. She follows the ball sliding in front of her defenders lookin for the pass in the paint.

Ellie Fyans has some good height already, and she is fitting in well with her team at Providence Day. She does a nice job moving around in the paint getting open and keeping her hands high away from her defenders. She can score underneath the basket using some post moves, or she can attack the open lane from the free throw line. She is sure to get some rebounds on both ends of the court.
