Lester made my “Sparkling Guards” Tip Sheet last weekend at the SCC yet she always has sparkled from day 1 see evaluations here I love putting #sizedontmatter when players can play but seeing her change the momentum by not only scoring, but applying “on the ball” pressure as well as picking pockets to change the momentum was nice

Lester wasn’t on hand for Saturday, previous engagement showing her animal at the RODEO yet whatever she decides to do, she leaves a lasting impression. I’ve watched her get knocked almost out and come back and hit game winning threes, watched drop 40 against HS players while she was in middle school see evaluations here yet coming off an award winning freshman season, she dazzled me with her spins and crossovers as well as threading the needle for assists. Her jumper looked good, so did her scoring off the dribble

Lester continues to amaze me as I recall her taking a hard hit a few years ago, see evaluations here, which had me thinking she was done, only to come back and drop a 3 for the win, so I knew what was coming. She continues to show me “she still ain’t done” and being #sizedontmatter doesn’t mean anything because she’s one of the toughest guards in her class. She set the defender up nicely to attack and score, after included but her body control aided her acrobatic finishes. Her court vision across the board looked good; she dropped the jumper from mid to long range, and her “on the ball” pressure was also solid

Lester is another player who sold me the first time I saw her, and with her being a #sizedontmatter guard and giving older defenders fits was part of it. Another part was her “mental toughness” as she took hard licks that would have knocked me out of the game, yet she kept on ticking, so watching her “on the court” progression and continuing to elevate her game keeps me smiling see evaluations here

Lester mesmerized me 3 or 4 years ago with her “heart and desire” along with taking licks, being knocked around, only to keep coming back and drop jumpers, including a 3 at the buzzer for the win. #sizedontmatter when you can play, she’s gotten stronger and finishing after contact off the dribble, her mid to long-range looks good, so does her defense, and court vision

I got a chance to see Lester playing up with her club’s elite team, and wow! She is not even in high school yet and making heads up plays to shake up the other team. She capitalizes on opponents mental lapses with heads up plays, timing her moves perfectly to snag steals when opponents least expect it. Her awareness and anticipation turn miscues into momentum for her team.

Lester sold me years ago and being a #sizedontmatter guard who dropped the long ball and dove on the floor for loose balls told me what was coming. she’s a fierce competitor who brings it on both ends, her court vision and attacking the basket continue to elevate as well as the “on the ball” pressure she applies

Lester grabbed my attention the first time I saw her as she received my TIMEX award, took a hit but kept on clicking, and guess what, she has continued to impress me with not only her skill set but comprehension proving #sizedontmatter when you can play see evaluations here.

Lester has been on my radar for a few years after watching her take a hard hit which had me thinking she was done, only to come back and drop a game-winning 3, she joins a few I’ve personally seen do that. Here we go to the now, her playing passing lane JUST DID IT for me, along with her “on the ball” defense yet her acrobatic finishes after contact were nice, and so was her “catch and shoot” from deep
