Davis was very impressive in Ann Arbor Pioneer’s win against cross town rival Ann Arbor Huron. She showed physical strength and solid vertical defense. Davis stayed straight up, searched for the ball, and didn’t come down on and get cheap fouls. She closed out strong on shooters, disrupting shots and not allowing easy looks. Davis also showed the understanding of when help defense is needed and the ability to slide over and provide it. She really spearheaded the Pioneer side of a defensive game.

Davis can make it tough tor opponents to score. She plays great vertical defense without fouling. She extends high and blocks shots cleanly. Davis is athletic enough to make the defensive stand and then push the pace in the other direction. College coaches will really like what they see from her this high school season.
