Her status is only going up when it pertains to prominent point guard talents in the class. What’s most impressive about Emerald is her ability to slyly create advantageous angles with the ball in her hand, willingness to move around without the ball to get ideal screens and defensive agility as she covers a lot of ground in the open court or within halfcourt settings. Jakes has shown she’s a ’27 name that holds weight.

Just because Jakes is the quintessential teammate and such a selfless player doesn’t mean she should be overlooked. Emarald is a fundamentally sound player that’s eager to make the right play. She’s regularly in the right spots and timely in her playmaking ability, especially for others. One aspect of her game that stands out is her adaptability, which shines on both sides of the ball. Jakes just finds ways to affect what happening on the floor.
