Wow- Emerie’s defense. You are going to feel her presence inside! Does a great job sealing her defender. Love her footwork on the block, and uses the backboard- fundamentals that wins games! She can make a living at the line.

She transferred to Western Reserve Academy from South Carolina, where she was among the state’s top 2027 ballers. With her strength and agility, she can play any position on the floor, she has the power moves in the paint and the ball handling skills as well. She can score inside and outside the paint and makes hard cuts through the defense to score at the rim. Gets up and down the floor in transition and is never standing in one spot for too long. When she takes the ball to the rack, it’s very hard to stop her. She makes her debut at 28.

Davis is very agile with her footwork around the bucket. She can step-out for the short corner jumper. Emerie really does a good job of getting herself into position to rebound the ball on both ends of the floor. Davis will drop an occasional runner to the bucket.
Emerie is a very capable double-double player night in and night out on the floor for the Lady Panthers.

The Panthers claimed one of its most impressive victories of the season with a 58-49 victory against Landrum on the Cardinals’ own home court. Instrumental in the victory were the 19 points that she scored en route to said win. Carolina Forest has a young nucleus and appears to have a bright future. Landrum had little answers for what Davis was able to get accomplished in the painted area. Davis can sufficiently operate at either one of the forward position as part of the Panthers’ potent backcourt. This is her first season on the team and she has already proven herself as a rebounder and scorer.
