Someone that has been a constant producer on both ends of the floor this winter, while dominating in the categories of scoring and rebounding is Emerson Ehler Emerson Ehler 6'0" | PF Ponca | 2026 State NE of Ponca High School. Ehler would be described as a player that dominates down-low because of her patience, size, and motor. On most occasions, Ehler gets herself in the correct position as their play is unfolding, so that a guard of their’s can dump it off to her for an easy bucket. If not, she has the ability to sit in the post with her back to the basket and give it a solid attempt if she has some time. If she happens to miss that first attempt, she does a fantastic job of jumping up again right away for another opportunity at the rebound. From the small sample size I have seen, Ehler’s best ability is rebounding. She is good at other things on the floor as well but because of how well she does rebounding the ball, that seems to set everything else into place. She has basically averaged a double-double to start this season so it’ll be interesting to see how the rest of this winter plays out.
