? An elite all-around scorer, willing passer, and pesky perimeter defender. She also has the size and motor to be a gamechanger on the glass. Expect her to be a key piece on the loaded Team NorCal 3SSB. Emerson is a player to watch because of her ability to play with other great players. She can score on and off-the-ball. Her balanced shot selection makes her nearly impossible to guard. If you take the 3 away, she can kill you from mid-range. If you overplay her jump shot, she will attack the basket and finish. Shoots the ball with range. Finishes well in traffic. Emerson overcame adversity in the high school season, missing 15 games with injury before returning and leading Camarillo to a deep playoff run (25ppg, 12rpg). Expect the unsigned junior to have a chip on her shoulder this summer.

What makes Emerson unstoppable is her ability to make shots from all over the floor. Top of the key, mid-post, corner 3, wing, in the paint, literally EVERYWHERE! Such a fluid and effortless scorer. She scores naturally through the flow of the offense and is very unselfish. Competes hard on both ends! Emerson can score with-the-ball and off-the ball. She has a soft touch around the basket. Emerson’s feel for the game and all-around scoring prowess separate her from the rest of the pack.

Martin’s 6-foot frame and versatile skill set make her a matchup nightmare. With the shooting range of a guard and the physicality of a forward, she’s nearly impossible to contain. Defenders are left guessing — do you guard her with speed to contest her outside shot, or with height to challenge her in the paint? Either way, Martin finds a way to exploit the mismatch. Averaging 19.4 points per game, she’s a reliable scoring threat, whether she’s pulling up from deep or powering through the lane. On top of that, she’s crashing the boards with authority, securing key rebounds for her Camarillo squad. A true multi-way player, Martin makes her presence felt in every corner of the court.

Emerson has great length as a natural 2 guard. Her ability to finish around the rim and catch fire from distance makes her a tough cover. Thirteen 20pt games on the year! She is a great guard rebounder and knows how to leverage her length. Emerson has really solid shooting mechanics and sets her feet well in catch-and-shoot situations. Back-to-back 30 pt games against Moorpark and St. Bonaventure included 10 made 3s. Emerson can also finish with either hand in transition. Her size and skillset translates to the next level, no doubt about it.
