Emersyn delivered for Morenci on the big stage and posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds in the State Semifinals against Ishpeming. She made smart backdoor reads, caused fouls, was active on the defensive end, and was a determined rebounder. Emersyn cut backdoor, caught the pass, made a smooth transfer, and dropped in a floater off two feet in the lane. The floater is a staple in Emersyn’s game. She split the gap with a speedy dribble to score a layup, crashed the glass to score a putback, and drove aggressively to the rim, earning many trips to the line. Emersyn converted eight shots from the charity stripe and generated steals with her pesky on-ball pressure.

Emersyn spearheaded the attack for Morenci during their Quarterfinal victory against Kingston. She paced the Bulldogs with 21 points and was a menace on the boards. Emersyn dropped in contested floaters, drove hard to the basket for layups, scored putbacks, finished through contact, and caused fouls. She froze a defender with a shot fake, then drove by for a bucket off two feet. Emersyn used a quick sweep move to beat her girl to the rim for a layup and scored a strong putback through contact, then finished the three-point play at the line. Emersyn’s perimeter pressure and anticipation resulted in many steals on the defensive end. She took a steal all the way for a breakaway layup and fired a great lead pass ahead in stride to a teammate for one of her many assists. Emersyn utilizes counter pivots to create scoring angles and has a confident floater game. She averaged a team-high 17 points per game this season and will be one of the top unsigned seniors competing at the Breslin.

Emerysn became the fourth girl in Morenci basketball history to reach 1,000 career points during a hard-fought 49-45 victory against Summerfield. She found her hot spot on the right wing and buried three confident triples off the catch for the Bulldogs.

Emersyn, a senior guard for Morenci, has been instrumental in her team’s outstanding 16–1 season, filling up the box score in just about every category. She recently poured in 30 points in a big performance, showing her ability to take over when her team needs it most. A confident perimeter threat, she can bury shots from well beyond the arc, stretching defenses and opening up the floor. On the other end, Emersyn competes with intensity, applying pressure, creating turnovers, and setting the tone with her effort. Her well-rounded production and competitive edge continue to drive Morenci’s success.

Emersyn was the driving force behind Morenci’s impressive 22-4 campaign that ended with a second straight trip to the state quarterfinals. The 5-foot-6 guard filled the stat sheet last season, averaging 15 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.2 steals, and 2.5 assists per game while earning First Team All-State honors. Her athleticism, energy, and ability to impact the game on both ends have made her one of the most sought-after prospects in the state. With several college offers already on the table, Emersyn is poised for a standout senior season as she looks to lead Morenci even further in the postseason.

Emersyn had a strong first session with Michigan Cobras and continued to flourish with Morenci at Northwood Team Camp. She took a dribble hand-off hard to the basket and made a quick transfer to score a layup with a soft touch off the glass. Emersyn jumped into the passing lane for a steal and took it the other way for two. She blocked shots on defense, grabbed rebounds with tenacity, and drove with a burst straight to the rim for layups. Emersyn earned a higher ranking in our latest update.

Emersyn had an outstanding performance on Saturday at The Smoke, making her presence felt for the Michigan Cobras . She was constantly in motion, finding gaps in the defense with smart off-ball movement and attacking the lane with determination. Emersyn drew plenty of contact and earned frequent trips to the free throw line. She crashed the offensive glass with intensity, giving her team extra possessions, and also showed her range by knocking down shots from beyond the arc.

Emersyn was great last year at the Cagers Invitational and she doubled down with another stout tournament for Michigan Cobras over the weekend. Her floater game was on point. She dropped in many throughout the tournament, including a tough one over a 6 footer, absorbing hard contact. She chased down her missed shot to secure an offensive rebound and converted free throws with confidence at the line. Emersyn drove with a determined burst past defenders and finished her layups in contested situations. Her active pressure caused steals on defense and she did a great job of handling the ball confidently with both hands.

Emersyn was electric with Michigan Cobras 2026 last year at the Cagers Invitational. She was one of the most effective scorers at the tournament. Emersyn drives hard to the basket and finishes with toughness in traffic. She gives the team a boost with her perimeter shooting and will be one of the guards to prioritize this weekend.

Emersyn was the March 9th-15th Detroit Free Press Player of the Week and earned TCC All-Conference First Team honors. Emersyn led the Bulldogs with 22 points during their win vs. Summerfield and was very important to their success all season.
