About Emma

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive player, always looking for a shot . Active on defense. Very aware of where I need to be and when to be there. Strongest attribute is my three point shot.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a leader on and off the court. I am very determined and I have a very good work ethic. I work hard to encourage everyone around me, including my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I won multiple awards in robotics, to earn an entry at states and at worlds. I am a member of the Nation Junior Honors Society. I have A honor roll. I was previously a part of Project Outreach (an outreach program to promote kindness to disabled students) when it was offered at my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a mentor for upcoming auburn basketball players by helping with a training program every Tuesday through my school basketball team. I have been an assistant coach to my brothers flag football team for multiple years which has helped me learn important team values. I was previously in a debate club, where I learned ways to approach an argument with respect.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During my states competition for robotics, I left during my lunch break for a basketball game, where I broke my ankle. I quickly went to urgent care and still came back to compete in the competition.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to go to a D1 school. I plan on attending a prestigious school where I can take Pre-law. I would like to find somewhere I can earn scholarship money or qualify for financial aid.
