Emma Grace started the game off very hot for North Forsyth against Charlotte Catholic on Day One at Wofford team camp. With the graduation of Gabbie Gliatta who will continue her career at Division Two Emmanuel, EG will be called upon to not only fill some of the scoring void Gliatta left, but in all likelihood be the starting point guard and primary ball handler for the Lady Raiders. EG scored seven quick points to start the game with two nice finishes in traffic on the fast break along with a pull up three in transition. She is a very skilled player, both handling the basketball and specifically shooting the basketball from three point range. She did a nice job balancing her scoring with initiating and facilitating the offense in the half court as well as getting the ball to

who was also cooking early in that game with eight quick points. Turner plays the game with a high basketball IQ and her team will need her to make good decisions while being strong with the ball if they plan on making another deep run in the playoffs.

Emma Grace, who took over the starting point guard position late in the season, started the game on fire knocking down a three between the wing and corner on a pass from Gliatta on one play and grabbing a loose ball rebound, taking a dribble, coming to a jump stop and laying the ball up for two points with defenders on both sides on another. EG rebounds the ball on offense very well. Every game I have seen this season she sneaks into the paint and will grab the ball and get it up quickly for an easy put back multiple times.Turner, who is an elite catching and shooting the ball from three point range also hit a corner three late in the game for North Forsyth.

Emma Grace picked and chose when to attack for North Forsyth on offense, but was effective when she did-attacking the basket and initiating contact with the defender at the in the air. Turner drove the ball to the basket with strength and confidence and was excellent pushing the tempo on the fast break. Emma Grace made several good passes, especially to Arnett. One pass in particular went over her shoulder and the defender to Arnett who was wide open under the basket. Those two clearly have a lot of chemistry and played well together. Turner used her wingspan on defense to create steals and also grabbed two offensive rebounds. She is a solid ’28 prospect in the state of Georgia.
