Lucas also gave me a glimpse of what was coming around a year ago see evaluations here and one thing I enjoy seeing is her understanding positioning and outworking taller players for rebounds so yeah, that too is #THROWBACK. She scoring off the dribble better, body control after contact looks good as does her pull-up jumper along with her “catch and shoot”

Lucas gave me a variety of things, starting with the HEZ, to get the defender off balance so she could score off the dribble. Her body control is nice, so is her pull-up jumper, but her rebounding, as well as “timing” to block shots, also stood out

Lucas was relentless at times going AFTA the ball off the rim and one thing I love is things you can’t teach. Her “hands and footwork” are ahead of her years as she not only scored around the basket but on putbacks as well. Not settling for the inside game, she attacked and finished strongly from multiple angles
