How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
To share a little more about me, personally, I take pride in my defensive skills, I am aggressive and successful in the paint, I'm a strong rebounder, I have a good eye for making smart passes, I'm an unselfish player who makes solid assists, and I’m a shooter who plays hard and leads my team well.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
In an all-heart, team player, who is coachable, thrives on relationship, and is a natural encourager, cheering for my teammates on and off the court. I am a committed and dedicated athlete and person, overall, who has had the importance of hard work and perseverance instilled in her. While I may be fun, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the team, I am also serious and focused when needed.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
- National Honors Society
-Kids Ministry volunteer since 10 years old.
-I play the drums for class, at football games and at home for a hobby.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I am Captain of my team this year.
I am a team-player naturally. I am have strong social skills, who brings people together and has been working with my co-captain and coach to raise our young team up with skill-development and a belief in themselves.
I have been a part of serving in my
church and community with my family for as lot as I can remember; it’s just been a way of life for us.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, I have experienced significant mental health challenges in the past and I am blessed to be able to say that I am an overcomer.
In addition, transferring into a private high school in 10th grade from growing up in public school my whole life came with some academic and relationship challenges, as the transition educationally as a whole was tough. Thankfully, a year later, I am finding my way!
