About Emma

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a 7th grader I have a high basketball IQ as I'm a coaches kid and have been to countless games already. I'm a leader on the court. My best thing about my game is I talk on defense and play good team help side defense. I feel like I'm a good individual defender as well. I'm a good 3 point shooter who can hit the pull up. I can finish with step throughs, pro hops and Euro's.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Being the youngest of 4 and watch my 2 older siblings play college sports, plus watching my high school sister going through the recruiting process, I have a strong desire to play college basketball as well. I am hard on myself as I work really hard at school and sports and want myself to do my best at whatever I do. I feel I am pretty outgoing.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Church youth group, student council, volleyball and basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Our school and church provide leadership activities. My dad has me listen to mindset and leadership podcasts and read books about it.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Personally no. I have had a good life with a great family. My biggest one would be moving to a new school and trying to fit in.

What type of college are you looking for?

Smaller school settings. Rural or small urban areas.
