The Notre Dame Prep shooting guard turned in a highly efficient offensive performance. Wallstrand did an excellent job moving without the basketball, finding open space, and creating quality scoring opportunities for herself. Her ability to play within the flow of the offense while consistently getting clean looks made her one of the more effective perimeter players I saw during the event.

Emma is very impressive. Her great shooting ability stretches the floor. Emma has a reliable pull-up shot off the dribble. Her shooting form shows her understanding of a quick release, with balanced mechanics. What I really like about her game is how she makes good shot selections, and her shots aren’t forced. Emma is very crafty around the rim and can finish her shot with both of her hands. She has a quick first step, which helps her get around defenders.

Salstrand has quietly built one of the more impressive freshman résumés in the state during the first half of the season. She scores in a variety of ways and shoots the ball with confidence, particularly from the perimeter. Her off-ball movement and willingness to take big shots are notable for a young player. Sahlstrand is clearly laying the foundation to be a significant piece for Notre Dame Prep in the coming years.

Salstrand impressed me with her three level scoring and playmaking ability. She has tremendous upside as she was able to make an impact on the game only being a freshmen. I expect her to be an x factor in matchups as she quietly can do damage by scoring buckets in bunches. Another big time freshmen to keep an eye on this season.

This freshman continued to add to her recent buzz since entering high school. She came out and scored as if she were a senior. She got to the spot on the floor that she wanted to and shot the ball with range. Could be among the top freshman scorers in the state.

Salstrand made an impression on me as she has the tools to be a successful guard at the high school level. She defends all 94 feet, has a great basketball IQ and looks to attack mismatches. Offensively she can score from all three levels. A scrappy guard with tremendous upside.
