Select Events Spring Showcase: ’29 AZ Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On <strong>May 15-17</strong>, the <strong>Select Events Spring Showcase</strong> took place at the <strong>Arizona Athletics Grounds </strong>in <strong>Mesa.</strong> Over 200 teams competed in the high school division. Wallstrand did an excellent job moving without the basketball, finding open space, and creating quality scoring opportunities for herself. Sandoval established deep position consistently, finished around the basket, and used her size and length effectively on the defensive end. She ran the show calmly by balancing her own scoring with keeping her teammates involved. She consistently got to her favorite spots. Francis was comfortable putting the ball on the floor, attacking defenders, and knocking down mid-range jumpers.
