She is a solid piece of this Lady Raiders attack and one who has surely had a great high school career.

Had a monster of a night from the field as her shots found the bottom of the net at a consistent clip. Talk about hungry, this young lady was that and then some and she wouldn’t be denied as she scorched the bottom of the net from 3 as well as get downhill to the rim. Her performance led her team’s efforts as they trounced Walker Valley 68-33. Look for Emma to say in the groove as the Lady Raiders battle it out as they march onto state contention.

Smith is a big time shooter that understands her role well for Cleveland. Moves well off the ball. Understands the nuances of finding the “soft spots” vs a zone. Averaged nearly 10 points a game last year, and made great strides in her playmaking attacking bad closeouts. Hit 55 threes at 38%, and that number will go up. Capable of getting hot and having a 20 point night.Other teams know her as a shooter, and she’s taking advantage. Improving as a passer. Plays bigger than she is on defense. Rebounds really well for her position.
