About Emmah
Expert Analysis
Rasheen Johnson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Hard nose basketball player with great athleticism. Emmah can turn defense into offense in a blink of an eye and can score in traffic at a high level. Plays at a fast pace into transition fast breaks. Seems to always make the right pass and is never sped up when the ball is in her hands and has a consistent three-point jump shot. A great defender and is not afraid to put her body in harm’s way to pick up a charge. Good court vision and has a good show-and-go move from the three-point line!

Emmah is one of the best scorers in the state, and I do not have the stats exactly, but she finished this game hovering around 30 points. Emmah is a gritty player who scores on all three levels. Emmah was not at 100% today and couldn’t do what she usually does. But that didn’t stop her from playing about as hard as you could. She hobbled up and down the court but still dove on the floor and drove to the rim like she was healthy. Even not at full speed, she could get to the rim effectively and do a lot of work there. She also hit a shot from the logo to keep her team in the game with about 3 seconds to go. She finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists.
