Mohagen played a lot of junior-varsity last season and did a great job of using that experience to be ready for an opportunity to contribute this season. I always encourage younger players to take advantage of playing against their team’s varsity at practice and looking at it as an opportunity to get better each day. When a team’s varsity is really good, the junior varsity really has an opportunity to improve. Emree took advantage and is off to an effective start as a freshman. She is a strong 5’8 and can defend girls bigger than her. She has good fundamentals around the rim. She flashes across the lane and meets the pass to limit turnovers.
