About Erica

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am guard and floor general with a passion for leading by example. I bring energy, focus, and accountability to every practice and game. Whether it’s helping to set the tone on defense, helping to orchestrate the offense, or motivating teammates in crunch time, I take pride in being a voice that keeps the team locked in and pushing forward.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to do my best to have confidence , be a leader, & stay focused and engaged academically and athletically. I have a helpful and giving personality on and off the court. I try to make smart decisions and elevate others through communication and maintaining a good work ethic while on the court and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a part of the Black Student Union at my school. I have received perfect attendance, math, and A/B Honor Roll awards being an athlete has helped me to develop even stronger leadership and teamwork skills. I will be taking the SAT or ACT this year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I do my best to lead by example, stay focused under pressure, and support my teammates. I feel that these qualities help me to contribute to a positive and winning environment. I volunteer in my community as I feel that giving to others that may not have the same opportunities that I do is a positive thing.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college where athletics are a big part of campus life. I want to be a part of a program that is competitive, well supported, & give student athletes the resources to be successful both on the field and in the classroom. I would love to be part of a team culture that helps me to grow even further as a leader & a teammate, while also helping me to prepare for my life after sports.

Wikoff has been “going off” this school season, and that doesn’t surprise me because she has shown me several times what she is capable of doing and what she brings to the table, yet the table ain’t set because she continues to show her upside hasn’t been reached, which is scary, not for me, but defenders see evalautions here

Wikoff made my Standouts from the 3 on 3 Tip Sheet, see evaluation here, yet she showed me how heady she was during the 5 on 5 games by setting her teammates up for good looks. One play in particular, she was taking the ball out and the defender had their back to her, she through the ball off their back and scored a layup, which JUST DID IT for me, but her “on the ball” pressure was even more intense, she even picked some pockets. Her torrid shooting from outside was also there as she dropped it from deep multiple times. She played the passing lane and dove for loose balls, even knocking the Baller TV camera down and catching it before it hit the ground, while lying down

Wikoff was a player I mentioned that I hadn’t seen enough of on the PGH Circuit see evaluation here, but I caught up quickly off the top. She understands how to create her shot under pressure, and she shoots the jumper with confidence. She gave me the “catch and shoot” and showed she could use her athleticism on both ends by scoring off the dribble and playing solid defense. She also saw the floor and hit teammates in traffic for gimmes
