What was impressive about Eva’s play was that she shot 3-4 from the 3-pointline. The 75% shooting efficiency was rather impressive in this game vs Hamden Hall. Her ability to knock it down from distance helped the team significantly in the win. Wilkerson is a fun player to watch when she’s aggressive like this. She regularly brings a diligent work ethic that allows her 2-way play to be effective.

Eva is on a roll early on by stuffing the stat sheet with multiple double-double games this season. She just had back-to-back games scoring over 10 points and securing plus 10 boards. Her balanced skillset in those games allowed her to comfortably contribute. It doesn’t matter the structure of the game; Eva can be counted upon to make an impact. Even if the shot isn’t falling, Wilkerson will find a way to be a factor. In her last showing vs Holy Cross, Eva was just shy of getting another double-double, but her efforts set the tone for the big win. Her reliable 2-way play is the backbone to her success.

Eva had a well-balanced game that concluded with her scoring 17 pts, 7 rebs and 5 stl on efficient shooting splits. The game ended up resulting in a blowout by the end where Sacred Heart found themselves the victor over Millbrook 70-30. Wilkerson got off to a quick start by finding holes in the defense. She operated at a high-level with the ball in her hands and she was also able to move the ball around the floor to get the offense moving. Eva had no problem crashing the glass either. her aggressive mindset as a guard allows her to get physical in the paint and come up with the unpredictable rebounds. Wilkerson’s play was a solid highlight from yesterday.
